I was so excited for my stay but was met with no running water and flickering lights, absoultely horrendous. I thought at least a complimentary breakfast woudl ve been offered, but nope, all i got was an egg without any toast! Such an unfortunate chain of events, almost left a good review but just couldn't.

Everything was great, the wifi was free. The food was delightful at the cafe. Our double room included an air conditioning, a mini bar, and a work desk. The staff were nice, nothing too much trouble. The location was marvellous and particularly good, close to the dive shop, and the bed soft.

I had a great time at Surf Ranch! The location is super close to the beach. Though we had a few hiccups with our room not being cleaned properly, the overall vibe and outdoor activities were awesome.

Stayed here before now and I would definitely book again. I appreciated the place, everything was great. The location of the property was marvellous and good, next to the beach. Moreover, it's just next door to the centre, midtown and the restaurant. The hotel staff was nice, not annoying.

The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating. Perfect location, we loved being just a short stroll from the beach.

We faced issues with unexpected maintenance delays, especially with the shower , which detracted from our comfort.

This was just an optimal selection for a weekend respite in Tamarindo with really good value. The friendly staff helped us plan a last-minute surfing lesson, which turned out to be a highlight of our stay. Bring your own snacks, as food options were limited.

Here's my take on it

Steps from the beach for perfect surfing sessions, the automation made check-in easy. The café served delicious breakfast options, especially the cinnamon French toast sticks. Rooms were clean and cozy. Highly recommend this spot!

The reception was able to organize fantastic activities for our family. My kids loved the surfing lessons, perfect for beginners and provided a thrilling experience. Plus, being so close to the beach.

My kids wished the pool area was better supervised.

Just an excellent fit for a brief retreat in Tamarindo with the best value. The staff really helped us arrange last-minute surfing lessons that were a highlight of our stay. Make sure to bring your own snacks since food options are limited.
